Practice Management

The Practice Manager is involved in managing all the business aspects of the practice so that the right systems and people are in place to provide a high quality of patient care. They are responsible for human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care. If you have a Complaint, Comment or even a Compliment about any aspect of this Practice, it should be addressed to the Practice Manager.

Practice Team

Our Practice team will greet you on arrival at the health centre and deal with requests for appointments, home visits and repeat prescriptions. They may ask for details of your medical complaint so the GP can assess the urgency of an appointment or home visit. Health Visitors

The Health Visitor works Monday to Friday. Her role is to work with families until their child goes to school, offering parenting support and advice to help give the child the best possible start in life. Her role includes advice on feeding, weaning and dental health, developmental checks and immunisations.

Community Midwives

Community Midwives run an Antenatal Clinic on Tuesdays from 2pm If you become pregnant you will be given a telephone number to contact them direct they will arrange an appointment for you at the health centre. You will be seen regularly throughout your pregnancy either at the practice, Perth Royal Infirmary or Ninewells Hospital. Contact details: 01738 473270.

Community Nurses

The community nursing staff provide a 24 hours service and are specially trained to provide nursing care in the home for patients unable to attend the health centre. They also offer help and advice to family members caring for patients at home. Contact 01828 632425 (24 hr answering machine).
