From Thursday 12th November 2026, New Alyth Road will be Fully Closed between junction of Airlie Place up to and including the Doctors Surgery.
This is to allow Perth & Kinross Council to resurface the Footway, it will take approximately 8 days to complete, weather permitting. There is no planned weekend working.
To allow the footway resurfacing works to be carried out safely, there will be a full road closure of New Alyth Road and Stop/Go traffic management on Airlie Place. There will also be a suspension of parking and loading, and residents are asked to park out with the works extents. Out with working hours, vehicular access to properties will be maintained.
During the road closure a signed diversion route is highlighted in blue on the attached map and is via Airlie Place-Airlie Street(B952)-A926-New Alyth Road and vice versa.
Please expect delays and allow more time for your journeys when the work is being carried out. Access for pedestrians and emergency service vehicles will always be maintained, throughout the works.

The Health Centre will be open as normal whilst these works are being carried out. We have been advised that there will be restricted access to the car park therefore please allow plenty of time to get to your appointments.
